Visit from the Philadelphia Zoo on Wheels outreach program
On a Thursday morning in August, 2008, the Chester County Art Association’s summer art camp was visited by the Philadelphia Zoo’s outreach program. Over one hundred children were treated to a presentation by the “zoo on Wheels” on Thursday morning at the CCAA facility on Bradford Avenue in West Chester.

Four animals were presented to the children who later drew them as part of their art lesson for the day. There was a radiated tortoise, an armadillo, an albino rabbit and a McCaw parrot.
The children absolutely loved the presentation.
