- The Chester County Art Association had over 1,500 children enrolled in summer art camps and educational outreach programs so far in 2007. More than 1,000 adults participated in CCAA education and exhibition opportunities as well.
- CCAA employs more artists and teachers who have their BFA or MFA degrees than any other art center in Chester County. Many faculty members are working, accomplished artists whose work represents a diverse range of media. Many are also faculty members at area art colleges and universities. All share a strong love of art and teaching and are committed to community-based art education and art appreciation.
- Recent awards include honors from a wide range of organizations such as the “The Art & Business Partnership” award presented by the Arts & Business Council of Greater Philadelphia. The annual award recognize successful collaborative projects between nonprofit arts organizations and businesses. CCAA earned the honor with its 2006 collaboration with the Exton Square Mall that created the Exton Square Studio. In 2001, the Arts & Business Council honored CCAA with a “special recognition,” for “Arts Management Excellence,” an annual award that cites nonprofits arts groups for unusual growth, budget, fund-raising and other aspects of management.
Other honors – many of them nationally-known – include a BRAVO National Arts Education Award, part of an “accessible arts” and public education campaign developed by BRAVO: The Film and Arts Network in cooperation with Americans for the Arts. CCAA also won first place in the nationwide "Chalk It Up" sidewalk mural contest.
