SUPPORT Chester County Art Association

"I cannot stress enough the importance of ensuring the viability of the arts in our community. The arts improve our quality of life as well as that of future generations. People will learn about who we were and who we are through the art that we leave behind."
Darcie Goldberg, Executive Director

There are several ways to support CCAA including some very creative ones (see "creative ways" posted at right.)

Planned Giving

What is Planned Giving?  That is the name given to the process of encouraging donors to expand their ideas when it comes to meeting their philanthropic goals. A donor can “plan” their support by giving assets that encompass a lot more than the traditional cash donation. For instance, did you know that long-term marketable securities such as appreciated stocks can be one means to fund a charitable trust?

Indeed, a number of assets are eligible and tax-saving ways of giving including real estate assets, life insurance policies,   retirement fund assets and even tangible assets such as jewelry and  art collections. In effect, one can leave their art collection to an art organization such as CCAA and receive a 100 percent deduction for Federal estate tax purposes as long as the donation is specified in one’s will.  So art can support art!

The Educational Improvement Tax Credit campaign

Did you know that contributions given through the Pennsylvania Educational Improvement Tax Credit program (EITC) can greatly benefit your business?

Significant tax benefits can be obtained if your business is based in Pennsylvania (or authorized to do business here) and it's subject to certain taxes such as the Corporate Net Income Tax; the Capital Stock Franchise Tax; Bank and Trust Company Shares Tax; or Mutual Thrift Institution Tax.

Some of our supporters who have chosen this donor incentive have included:  First National Bank of Chester County, Bryn Mawr Trust Company, DNB First, Aqua, National Penn Bank, Fulton Bank and the West Chester School District.  We thanked our supporters by inviting them to CCAA for a check-giving ceremony. Click for photos!

We are now seeking support for the 2008 Educational Improvement Tax Credit campaign!!
